One way to get your bass instruments to stand out on computer or phone speakers is to add parallel compression to your bass guitar or kick. Send your low frequency instruments to a bus with a compressor on it. Squash with a high ratio and threshold, and then dial back the bus volume until you can barely hear it. Test it out on some lo-fi speakers. This will increase the volume on the bass or kick, so you may need to adjust.
