Quick Audio Tip #5

Did you know that in Logic Pro X, you can make a midi sampler instrument out anything? Simply right click on any audio file, go to “convert”, and click “Convert to New Sampler Track”. If it’s not a track with clear transients, you may need to chop it up first, and select “Regions” instead of “Transient Markers”. Then, just plug in your midi keyboard and play! Works great for drum samples. Make sure the original file is saved in your “samples” folder in your project.
