Mic positioning tips: the closer your mic is to the source, the more low-end frequencies will come through. If you’re getting a lot of plosives (Heavy “p” pops), use a pop filter. If you want more room sound, back the mic off the source. If you’re room is noisy, place the mic closer to the source.
